Task:
Manufacture, deliver & install over 100 Sunbrella fabric awnings for a high profile, fast track, ground up construction of the largest outlet mall in the Midwest.
Challenges:
Track 29 RFQs for major changes to meet tenant needs, coordinate with more than 20 subcontractors with the same deadline, and provide the completed installation within a 2 week window just prior to Black Friday opening date.
Solutions:
Work closely with the general contractor to establish procedures for field verification, labeling, RFQ tracking, shop drawing submittals, and job site safety.
Implementation:
Finished frames were staged on site, so that as awning locations were cleared for install, fabric could be applied and installation would take place within 24hrs.
